Today has been LONG!!! Last night Jordan came over and we had dinner and caught up like old times. I've missed that girl! Anyway, we got absolutely NO sleep at all and stupid me forgot I had work thsi morning :( So as I wake up to a pounding headache, I finally get ready for work. I was totally dreading today. I just wanted to sleep alllll day. I never get to sleep in anymore!
A couple hours into working, the BEAUTIFUL sun came out and was beaming. It was about 78 degrees and completely perfect if you ask me! As soon as I get out of work the headache and sleepiness rushed back to me. I don't think I've been this tired in a loooong time. So my plans for tonight are simply eating take out, watching Redbox movies, and spending time with my mom. So relaxing! I love these kinds of nights! The only thing that's missing is Anthony :( whaaaaaaa! But I guess that means I'll just have to do this all over again tomorrow night when he gets back. I'm not complaining :)

Best friends for never
Growing up I've never had any true "best friends". Of course I had lots of "aquaintences" but I can't say that I had any true friends. All of the "best friends" I had growing up all stabbed me in the back one way or the other. Luckily I have a huge family and lots of cousins that are basically my sisters/brothers/best friends anyway...but sometimes I just wish I could say, "We've been friends since we were kids!" Maybe cause I was always more mature and never really enjoyed the company of people my age...I did try to just get over that and continue some of the friendsips I had but of course these girls were just bad news. I noticed that I'm just a litle too trusting towards people, which needs to stop! I guess you can say I am the type of person to wear my heart on my sleeve. Everyone knows I can be the sweetest girl but I'm also very opinionated and not afraid to say what's on my mind. Is that bad? I just want people who have the same interests and even morals and values?! Is that too much to ask for? Girls these days are just nasty, trashy girls who follow each other cause they don't have a mind of their own. When I leave this dump called Irving hopefully I'll meet some real people and I'll be able to say "We've been friends since college!"...For those few great friends I have, thanks for being you and being true to not only me but yourselves also!

The calm after the storm
This weekend has been unreal. I'd say probably one of the toughest weekends I've had in the past couple of years. Watching the man I love go through something so heartwrenching and sucking up all of his emotions and trying not to shed a tear to keep his family strong...it broke my heart. Especially watching the rest of his family that I care deeply for, weeping and heartbroken really made me just as sad. No pain compares to having a loss of a grandparent, mother, sibling, etc... I can only imagine how much it hurts. Some times I felt completely helpless. I wanted to do so many things for them and couldn't find the ways to do it. I just did what I could, and that was to comfort and support them throughout this unfortunate loss. The funeral is this Wednesday and I still ask for your prayers and thoughts for Ant and his family.
On a brighter note, I also got to visit some family as I was leaving back to Dallas. I went to visit my Uncle Hector and I FINALLY got to see my cousin Madison's apartment in San Marcos! Why the hell has it taken me this long to finally swing by?! haha It was such a breath of fresh air seeing her! I needed my best friend! After a quick hour of seeing her I had to get back on the road :( Luckily I got home right on time to see the season premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York! I've been waiting for this show foreverrrrr now and I love it! Unfortunately I forgot I had homework later that night and was working on 2 papers and tons of reading all the way into the AM. Boooo! That being said, I got no sleep whatsoever. Can you say exhausted? After my long day and lack of sleep I finally got to squeeze a nap in. I already can tell this is going to be a long exhausting week and I'm completely dreading it.
Long story short, I want this week to go by and Anthony back home :(

Day 23- The next plan you have coming that you're really excited for
SPRING BREAK!
The next "vacation" would technically be spring break and I have some plans up my sleeve. This last summer Anthony and I went to Florida to visit my grandma and we had a blast! Not to mention that Anthony experienced his first plane ride and first time on a beach! I was so excited to share those experiences with him! This spring break I was thinking of going back to Florida and going to...DISNEY WORLD! I've been to Disney world about 50 times in my life and I absolutely love it! No matter the age, you instantly turn into a 5 year old and everything just makes you so happy! Since Anthony has never been I thought it'd be neat for me to experience another first with him! I know he'd just love it...and if not, then i'll make him love it damn it! lol
There is also the Ultra Music Festival the weekend of March 25-27. I've been wanting to go for a while and that'd be amazing if we went! I'd be in music heaven! I guess we'll have to wait things out and see what happens. Just thinking about all of this is making me so excited! I can't wait!

Long day ahead
So tomorrow I'm driving down to San Antonio to be with Ant and his family. Mainly just to help Ant get through this tough time. Although it'll be a little rough, I'm just so eager to hug and kiss him again. He's been gone for practically 2 weeks (not counting the tuesday when he came home for about 2 hours). Him being gone has really taken a toll on me and has really opened up my eyes to what life is going to be like when he moves to SA in May. It's so tough being away from him. Not having my bestfriend to talk to or to joke around with...not having my boyfriend to hold me or kiss me...it's just so hard :( We usually spend every single day with each other...or at least try to. But of course Anthony reassured me everything was going to be fine and that we can get through anything and this will just make us stronger, and I agree. I'm so thankful to have such a great guy. I can't wait to see him and spend a little time with him before I have to go to school on Monday. Seeing him will be a breath of fresh air! Only concern I have is that I'm driving all by myself. I hate being by myself! Especially driving...for 5 hours! Ugh, I guess we'll see how this goes! Pray for me! haha

Today my little sisters had their birthday photo shoot! Holy cow, I can't believe Allie is going to be 4 and Ava is going to be 2! Time flies so fast! Anyway, my mom wanted me to go with her and help since those two are a big ball of madness! We decided to take the pics in downtown Denton. The shoot was a little urban and fun! They looked so precious! Poor babies were freezing though! But I know the pictures are going to turn out awesome and it'll be well worth it! My mom also did a lot of convincing and if they didn't cry and smiled pretty then they'd get McDonalds! Haha gotta love mama! Now it's definitely time for a nap...or in my case, time to blog. Here comes the bride..
Today after church, I went with my cousin Cherie to the Ft. Worth Bridal Show and had a blast! Maybe I had such a great time because I one day want to be an event planner and maybe even a wedding planner? Anyway, there was tons of booths with videographers, photographers, restaurants, venues, honeymoon ideas and even a fashion show! I got so giggly you would've thought I was the one getting married haha! After walking around we discovered a photo booth and had to get in there! As soon as we were done with that one we saw 3 other kinds of photo booths too! You already know what we did...lol It was like kids in a candy store! Today gave us extra time to bond with one another and enjoy each others company! I seriously can't wait till I get to do all of this for myself! But until then, I'll just help Cherie :)

Just got my ass kicked and it's never felt so good!
You must be thinking I'm crazy when you read my title but it's not what you think! I just got done with my first day of P90x and I feel so sore yet so refreshed at the same time! I'm embarrassed to say it, but I haven't worked out in about 4 months! Ahhhh! But I've convinced myself to get back into the swing of things and get on track with my fitness routines! My senior year I weighed about 137, and that's when I was in cheerleading, so I had tons of muscle that was built up from freshman year all the way till senior year. I weighed myself today and I'm 127! 10 pounds lighter than I was! Of course I was happy to see a number so low considering I've always been in the 130's, but then it dawned on me that it's gone down because I no longer have any muscle :( Wahhhh! But after doing today's work out and starting to run again I know I'll get that ideal body that I want back! Can't wait to whip my body back into shape!

This one is a toughie...I have done some things in my past in which I regret..but after thinking about it, I don't regret anything that I've done in my life. Good or bad! Everything that I've done or been through has genuinely made me the person I am today. Without going through any of those obstacles, I know for a fact I'd probably be a huge mess. I've learned that life's definitely too short to regret anything. When I think of regret I just see it as a waste of time. There is no point in regretting anything you've done because it's done and in the past and there is no way of taking it back. I've learned that first hand. Day 14- A letter to someone. Anyone..
Dad,
How do I start this...you know we haven't really had a close relationship growing up. I wish we did, but I really feel like you just didn't try. It really hurt me growing up and knowing that you'd rather be off on your own doing whatever you wanted and couldn't pick up the phone to call me. You have no idea how hurt I was being a little girl and not having you in my life. Of course I had my awesome mother and family to love me unconditionally, but sometimes I felt like it wasn't enough. Now that I'm older, I see your ways and have very little respect for you. Yes, I can see you're "trying" but I feel like it's not all you, and that you have other people telling you to send me a card every once in a while. I still never get a call from you, but by this point I'm used to it and it doesn't hurt as much. Ever since Alfonso came into my life and took over the dad role that was supposed to be yours, I feel in a sense that I've been healed. He's cared about me just as if I was his actual daughter. To me, that is a man. He not only takes care of me but my mother also and I have the up most respect for him. You may get upset that I call him "Dad" but to tell the truth he has been my dad for half of my life now, and will continue to be my dad forever. If you read this, then I apologize for being so harsh, but it's the truth. I do love you very much...I just wish you would have tried a little harder.

Missing Anthony :(
So Anthony has been gone for about 2 days now and I miss him terribly :( We spend literally EVERY DAY together and not having him here with me makes me so sad and a bit lonely to be honest...Although I want to be selfish and have him home, he is where he needs to be. His grandma is very ill and doesn't have much time left with us. I need to push all my selfishness aside and let him fully enjoy his grandma! I love him and his family and want them to know that I'm here for not only Anthony but them as well!
Well on another note, this past year with Anthony has probably been one of the best years of my life! He is my boyfriend and best friend and I wouldn't have it any other way! He makes me completely happy and I love him with all my heart! He never fails to make me smile or suprise me. He always makes sure to tell me that he loves me and that I look beautiful even on my bad days! I love that about him! There is never a dull moment when we're together! He makes me laugh uncontrollably and is a total goof ball ;) Long story short, I am so incredibly lucky to have him and I can't wait for the years to come!

Well on another note, this past year with Anthony has probably been one of the best years of my life! He is my boyfriend and best friend and I wouldn't have it any other way! He makes me completely happy and I love him with all my heart! He never fails to make me smile or suprise me. He always makes sure to tell me that he loves me and that I look beautiful even on my bad days! I love that about him! There is never a dull moment when we're together! He makes me laugh uncontrollably and is a total goof ball ;) Long story short, I am so incredibly lucky to have him and I can't wait for the years to come!

2011 Resolutions
I've come up with a couple of resolutions for the new year. I always put the typical "lose weight", "diet", and "workout" but I wanted to switch it up a bit and think of something I REALLY want to accomplish. Here are a few..
1. Have a better attitude and be POSITIVE! (Everyone knows I can be a little moody sometimes, but I'm really wanting to work on it!)
2. Bottom line, NO FAST FOOD! (It really is so unhealthy and lately I've been catching myself eating it every other day! I am in serious need of getting back into my healthy ways)
3. To motivate myself and others! (I really find it important to always stay motivated. Without motivation you can steer yourself in the wrong direction and I dont want that for myself or anyone else!)
4. Spend more time with my baby sisters. (I feel like I don't spend enough time with them. They're growing up incredibly fast and I don't want to miss any exciting moments of them growing up!)
5. Be the best girlfriend I can be! (I honestly feel like I do everything to be the best girlfriend, although I do have my moments of PMS and poor Anthony has to deal with it haha. I just always want to be the best for him!)
6. STUDY STUDY STUDY! (I want to do unbelievably awesome this semester! I am trying to buckle down and really focus on transferring to a university!)
Anyway...those are a few of my many resolutions for this new year of 2011.

No longer an Aries :(
Since when is there 13 zodiac signs?! After looking at the dates I've noticed that I'm no longer and Aries, but a Pisces. Ahhhh! NO! I feel like my identity has been taken away from me! This is gonna take some time getting used to :(

New year. Fresh start.
HELLO EVERYONE! I've finally gotten a blog and I'm so excited to start writing! Let me just start with a special thanks to Madison Harrington for inspiring me to start this. Reading her blogs have truly motivated me to write and have inspired me to challenge myself in many different ways with this blog. Hopefully I'll develop this as a new hobby! I'll write about family, college, love, friends, and even random thoughts that come to mind. I'm so stoked and can't wait to fully get this blog into gear! For those who are reading, hopefully I can inspire and motivate you as well. Here we gooooooo!
